A perfect start to the upcoming adventure in Oman is the legendary The Chedi Muscat, with its expansive 8-hectare palm-lined garden and the Arabianesque style that makes Muscat so special. In the afternoon, you will meet the group in the Chedi Club Lounge for introductions, followed by a meal where we collectively prepare for the upcoming time.
THE RISE
ALILA JABAL AKHDAR
Nestled at an altitude of 2,000 meters, the Alila Jabal Akhdar Boutique Hotel, is the starting point of our expedition. The adventure begins with spectacular via ferratas, exploring cave systems, and panoramic hikes surrounded by breathtaking views of the Al Hajar Mountains.
THE BASECAMP
CANVAS CLUB
The Canvas Club Nordcamp in the smaller sister desert of the Rub al Khali, the Sharquijya Sands, serves as our base camp for the expedition. Here, we learn what is necessary for crossing the world's largest sand dunes and prepare ourselves for the upcoming days in absolute silence and seclusion.
